The H 250 flowmeter for measurement of the volumetric or mass flow rate of liquids, gases and steam is an all-metal flowmeter that operates on the float measuring principle. The flow-dependent vertical position of the float in the measuring tube is transmitted by a magnetic coupling system to the scale in the indicator part. The flowmeter is installed in a vertical pipe run, with flow from bottom to top. Owing to its rugged design, the H 250 variable-area flowmeter is particularly suitable for difficult applications and environmental conditions.D In the M9 indicator, the vertical position of the float is transmitted to the pointer/ magnet system, and the flow value indicated directly on the scale.D

SITRANS P pressure transmitters, DS III series, are digital pressure transmitters featuring extensive user-friendliness and high accuracy. Parameterization is performed using input keys or by means of HART communication. Extensive functionality enables the pressure transmitter to be precisely adapted to the plant’s requirements. Operation is very simple in spite of the numerous setting options. Transmitters with type of protection "Intrinsic safety" and "Explosion-proof" may be installed within potentially explosive atmospheres (zone 1) or in zone 0. The transmitters are provided with an EC type examination certificate and comply with the corresponding harmonized European standards (ATEX). The transmitters can be equipped with various designs of remote seals for special applications such as the measurement of highly viscous substances.

SITRANS LVS200 is a vibrating point level switch for high or low levels of bulk solids. The standard LVS200 detects high, low or demand levels of dry bulk solids in bins, silos or hoppers. The liquid/solid interface version can also detect settled solids within liquids or solids within confined spaces such as feed pipes. It is designed to ignore liquids in order to detect the interface between a solid and a liquid. A pipe extension version is available with either the standard or liquid/solid interface electronics and fork, separated by a customer supplied 1" pipe. SITRANS LVS200 has an optional 4 to 20 mA output for monitoring buildup on the fork to determine when preventative maintenance should be performed in sticky applications. The LVS200 has a compact design and can be top, side or angle mounted. The vibrating fork design ensures the tines are kept clean. The unique design of the fork and crystal assembly eliminates false high level readings even if tines become damaged. A signal from the electronic circuit excites a crystal in the probe causing the fork to vibrate. If the fork is covered by material, the change in vibration is detected by the electronic circuitry which causes the relay to change state after a one second delay. When the fork is free from material pressure, full vibration resumes and the relay reverts to its normal condition.

SITRANS TF is used where other transmitters can't cope. One main point is its rating of IP67. SITRANS TF is made of rugged die cast aluminum or long-lasting stainless steel. It transforms resistance thermometers, thermocouples, Ohm and mV signals into a load independent DC current corresponding to sensor characteristic or a digital signal according Fieldbus standard Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus. The remote mounted sensor prevents the transmitter heating up at high temperature; there are no vibrations and oscillations due to long neck tubes and protective pipes with SITRANS TF. For tags with difficult access to you can mount your SITRANS TF remotely at easily accessible places and display the measured value on the freely programmable digital display (with version 4 to 20 mA). You can even use the SITRANS TF in a version without a transmitter as a comfortable field display unit for all 4 to 20 mA signals. All SITRANS TF are available in intrinsically safe or explosion proof version.

The Model Series 74 Valve Positioners are universal positioners that provide versatility, dynamic performance, and high positioning accuracy. They use the piston ordiaphragm in a pneumatic actuator to position a valve to what is required by a control instrument and hold that position, regardless of the presence of forces that change valve position. As such, supply pressure variations have little or no effect on the positioner output, which eliminates the need for a supply pressure regulator. These valve positioners are two-stage, pilot-operated instruments. The pilot circuit activates dual-output boost-ers, which perform opposite actions (when one booster is supplying air, the other is exhausting air.) This “push-pull” action applies to a full differential (supply pressure to atmosphere) across the actuator to drive the valve to the position required by the control instrument signal.Model 74 Valve Positioners can also be used for single-acting service on a spring-loaded actuator. In this case, one of the pilot-booster connections is plugged. See below for rotary-type actuators.
